SPRINGFIELD, NJ - It was a beautiful evening and the 40th anniversary of Springfield’s July 4th celebration. Meisel Avenue Park opened at 5 p.m. with a bounce house, waterfall rapids, a petting zoo and a train that ran around the track. Live Music from the 1910 Fruit Gum Company started at 8 p.m.. Mayor Stampoulos thanked the crowd before the fireworks which began after 9 p.m.

A new sponsor, Michelle Pais from Signature Realty and many of the employees were in attendance handing out balloons and tote bags. She stated that she was “very happy to be a new sponsor and was looking forward to meeting more residents of Springfield”.  

Debbie Gearity of Funtime Collectable was offering sand art and toys for sale. She had lived in Springfield for twenty years and loves the event.

The weather was perfect and it was a very enjoyable evening in Springfield
