SPRINGFIELD, NJ - Thursday August 17 was a day of celebration at the Springfield Public Library.  It was the day the “Friends of the Springfield Library” ran its 50th Anniversary Party.

There were many events as part of the celebration.  Lots of children took advantage of the Fun Bus from 10 a.m. - noon.  As a result, the Children’s Room was quite an active place with those children visiting the Fun Bus.

From 2 - 3:30 p.m., the Harmony Celebration Chorus performed in the Donald B. Palmer Museum.  This chorus is part of the Sweet Adelines, a women’s choral group who sing harmony. The group website is www.harmonycelebration.com.
