SPRINGFIELD, NJ - The Springfield Girl Scouts have a couple things happening in the next two weeks.

First, they have a Girl Scout Information Night happening on Tuesday May 30.  People attending will learn “…all the exciting opportunities Girl Scouts have to offer.  The event is for parents and caregivers and their girls entering K-12 next year.

This event is scheduled Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the gym of St. James the Apostle School at 41 South Springfield Ave.

The second happening is the Springfield Girl Scouts are having their second annual “Me & My Guy” dance happening on June 4.  Tickets are only available for Girl Scouts.

Giving Back: Learn How to Help Victims of Sexual Violence

Every year since 1984, trained volunteers with the Union County Rape Crisis Center have helped victims of sexual violence through the emotional, medical and legal aftermath of trauma. New volunteers are welcome to join the next series of training classes beginning on Thursday, March 22.
