SPRINGFIELD, N.J. - Senior guard Sayre Brandstatter scored a game-high 15 points with seven rebounds, four steals, three assists and one block to lead Dayton to a 44-34 victory over Linden in Springfield Tuesday. The game was also part of the festivities for senior night, which saw 

Junior forward Michelle Bellino added 12 points and senior guard Maggie Phillips tallied 10 points for Dayton (9-9), which has won three straight and six of its last nine games.

Trailing 12-10 after the first quarter, the Bulldogs exploded in the second quarter outscoring Linden, 16-4, to take a 26-16 halftime lead.

Senior forward/center Rosibell Arias Peralta scored a team-high 12 points and sophomore Renee Rocha added 11 for Linden (0-17), which is still searching for its first win of the season.

The Bulldogs visit neighbor Kent Place (12-5), winner of seven straight and 11 of its last 12 games, Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

Bulldog Bites: Brandstatter has scored in double figures in six straight games … Dayton improved to 5-5 at home.
