SPRINGFIELD, NJ - The Springfield Green Team is seeking volunteers to assist with the Township’s recertification process as a sustainable community through the State of New Jersey’s “Sustainable Jersey” program. Help is needed with documenting, supporting and implementing programs that protect and enhance natural resources and the environment.

The Green Team, in conjunction with the Township of Springfield, coordinates, oversees and supports all efforts leading to maintaining a sustainable community. Part of that effort involves documenting communicating the Team’s progress on a variety of initiatives to Sustainable Jersey.

For more information or to volunteer go to the Green Team’s Facebook page — https://www.facebook.com/Green-Team-Springfield-New-Jersey-322737497524/ — be sure to include your contact information: name, email, phone number. You may also send an email to Betzabe Blondet (betzabefb@gmail.com), Alyson Weber Miller (alypeace@yahoo.com) or Sam Mardini (sam.mardini@springfield-nj.us)
