SPRINGFIELD, NJ — While new cases of COVID-19 have been discovered, the overall rate of growth in the number of cases has slowed. Yesterday saw a day with no new cases or deaths in Springfield.
As of yesterday's update, Springfield had no new cases of COVID-19, keeping the town's total at 245 positive tests and 21 deaths.
Overall Union County had 44 new cases of COVID-19, and 15 new deaths, totaling 15,610 positive tests and 1,060 deaths.
The State of New Jersey had 1,117 new cases of COVID-19 and 131 new deaths, bringing the state's total number to 158,884 positive tests, and 11,531 COVID-19 related deaths.
