SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Next Monday, the township will hold its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Vigil on the second floor of town hall.
The Springfield Interfaith Clergy Council will hold the community event “Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Vigil for Peace” at Noon in the town hall, second floor chambers.
Mayor Christopher Capodice and other township officials will present a proclamation and invite participation. As in past years, chairs will be arranged in a circle and all present may share their thoughts and reflections. The ceremony will conclude with the joining of hands and signing “We Shall Overcome.”
