Springfield Store Five Below Helping Fill Up Easter Baskets for Needy Children

SPRINGFIELD, NJ - Five Below, a discount store located at Route 22 East in Springfield has an eye catching array of Easter goodies throughout the store. After making a purchase you are asked to donate an item for a child’s Easter basket.  Items priced between $1-5 are available to be donated. This is being coordinated by the Easter Basket Drive of Northern New Jersey which has partnered with Five Below stores in the area. Donations of toys, candy, baskets and other Easter goods are accepted.

Five Below has participated in drives like this before. Manager Eddie Morales pictured above says they also participate in donating school supplies in July and throughout the holiday season. Easter Basket Drive of Northern New Jersey can be found on Facebook.  Maria Koukoularis who founded this charity 17 years ago.  She can be contacted at 973 -865-4852.

When asked why she started doing this she responded, "I woke up one morning and decided this was what I was supposed to do. Easter is about hope. I wanted to give these children some hope”.
