Springfield United for Hurricane Harvey starts August 31 at the Chisholm Center


SPRINGFIELD, NJ – Knowing that many people want to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey; Deputy Mayor Maria Vassallo, Township Committeewoman Geri Ann Bujnowski and the other members of the Township Committee worked with Springfield O.E.M., Springfield H.O.P.E. and the Recreation Department to a organize a humanitarian collection effort for those victims.

The collection effort will take place at the Chisholm Center from Friday, August 31 through September 14.  The hours will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Items accepted include toiletries, hygiene products, diapers, baby wipes, baby food, cleaning supplies, canned goods, new/unused clothing, batteries, flashlights and pet food.  All donations will be earmarked for Hurricane Harvey.
