Springfield’s Dayton Golf Hopes to Rebound against Roselle Park after Loss to Glen Ridge

SPRINGFIELD, NJ – The Bulldogs are about to play their last golf match of the season against Roselle Park today at Galloping Hill.  If the win, they will be 8-8 for the season.

On Thursday, the Bulldogs traveled to the Glen Ridge Country Club and played the Ridgers enjoyed their home course advantage.  They won 178-212.

The Ridgers averaged 46.5 strokes a golfer and the Bulldogs averaged 53.

Leading Glen Ridge was Ryan Twitchell with a five over par 41. 

The Bulldogs were led by enior Scott Maran with a 47. 

Next for the Bulldogs werer Junior Sarah Rodrick, and freshman Jeremy Greiss and Aiden Forys.  They all each shot 55.

Also playing for the Bulldogs was freshman Brett Netkin.  He shot a 58.

The next three Ridgers were Armaan Rigby with a 44, Jeff Egan with a 46 and Chandler Otterbein with a 47.
