SPRINGFIELD, NJ - Holy Cross Lutheran Church would like to thank the students, PTA, parents and staff of the Edward V. Walton School.  The program volunteers are so grateful for the hundreds of food items that were donated to Holy Cross Lutheran Church’s Food Ministry through their annual food drive.

Because of the hard work, effort and generosity of all at the school, more than 30 local families and senior citizens are experiencing less stress and more comfort in knowing their community cares about them.  It’s nice for us all in Springfield to know that we have such caring neighbors!

Partnering with Springfield H.O.P.E. and our local interfaith clergy association, we are able to continue this important outreach into Springfield.  If you or someone you know needs help with some extra supplies to get you through a tough time; please fill out the questionnaire found at or call our office at 973-379-4525.

We serve all Springfield residents in need no matter how they classify themselves or our world classifies them.   If you wish to help out by donating food items a list of needed items can be found at the above URL,  Items can be dropped off in the lobby of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and Nursery School 9-3 M-F or Sunday mornings.
