SPRINGFIELD, NJ – The Jonathan Dayton Bulldogs boys tennis team won their second match in a row this week beating Union High School 5-0 Wednesday.  The Bulldogs record is now 6-3. 

For Dayton, all three singles players won their matches and the first doubles team won its match.

Senior Colin McCormack won 6-1, 6-0 on court.  He is 4-5 on court one this year.

Senior Josh Damast plays singles two for Dayton.  He won his match 6-0, 6-0 and is 7-2 on the year.  Playing singles three for the Bulldogs is senior Jared Horowitz and he beat Johnson’s Logan Guarino 6-3, 6-1.  Horowitz is 6-3 in 2017.

Junior Adam Gelo and freshman Matthew Mlawski played the first doubles court and won their match.

Second doubles Ryan Solomon and Brandon Wohl had to forfeit because of an injury during the match.

Elizabeth is scheduled to play at Dayton today, Thursday.
