The Annual Springfield Holiday Celebration is on December 7

SPRINGFIELD, NJ – The Recreation Department has a wonderful evening planned starting at 5pm until 8 p.m. on Wednesday December 7 – HOLIDAY CELEBRATION 2016.  The rain date is December 8.

Festivities are at the Town Hall Lawn, and North and South Trivett Avenue. This event is free to all and will include the tree lighting, photos with Santa, petting zoo, horse-drawn carriage rides, bounce house, live winter wonderland band, a stilt walking soldier AND a strolling snowman. New for 2016 will be a live ice carving demonstration.

If you want to give back, Springfield H.O.P.E will be collecting unwrapped toys and Barnes and Noble gift cards. Holy Cross Lutheran Church will be collecting non-perishable food.

ELIZABETH, NJ - Approximately 700 cyclists of every skill level took to the streets for the 15th annual Tour de Elizabeth that rolled throughout the city on Sunday morning.

County of Union to Fly Rainbow Flag for the First Time on June 4
