SPRINGFIELD, NJ - Parishioners from St. James the Apostle Church in Springfield came together Tuesday, June 13 to form a living rosary in the church.
The prayer service was organized by parishioner, Geri Bujnowski in honor of the 100th Anniversary of Our Lady’s visit to the children of Fatima. Over 70 people participated in the living rosary, reciting the prayers in seven languages.
Our Lady appeared six times to the children at Fatima. The next time the living rosary will be prayed at St. James Church is on July 13. Like June 13, it is the anniversary of an appearance.
“In these tumultuous times we need more prayers, not less,” said Ms. Bujnowski. “We will try to bring a little of Fatima here to Springfield.”
For more information about the living rosary at St. James, please email Ms. Bujnowski at email@example.com. St. James the Apostle Church is located at 45 South Springfield Avenue in Springfield.
