SUMMIT, NJ - 'Disturbing the Peace' a documentary film that tells the story of former Israeli soldiers from elite units and Palestinian fighters -- former enemy combatants -- many of whom served years in prison, who joined together and said “enough,"will be screened November 1, beginning at 7:30 p.m., at Congregation Beth Hatikvah.

Revealing the transformational journey from soldiers committed to armed battle to nonviolent peace activists, 'Disturbing the Peace' displays the potential of humanity to create new possibilities when the status quo is disturbed and people stand for the dream of a free and secure world.

A post-film discussion will be held Stephen Apkon, with the film's director. Admission is free.

Congregation Beth Hatikvah is located at 36 Chatham Road.
