BOYS SOCCER: After a season-opening 4-1 home loss to neighbor Union on Thursday, Dayton hit the road and erupted for a 6-0 victory over winless Bogota on Friday. David Tjan had one goal with an assist, Elie Kapengut dished out two assists and Chito Jay KvanPatrick MachadoIan DrogowitzDillon Nelson and Aiden Forys each tallied one goal apiece for the Bulldogs (1-1). Next Up: at Linden (9/17, 7 p.m.); at Oratory (9/20, 4 p.m.); vs. Rahway (9/22, 10 a.m.).

FOOTBALL: The Bulldogs (0-2) lost to neighbor Brearley, 40-0, Friday in Kenilworth after a season-opening 41-14 home loss to Belvidere on Sept. 7. Next Up: vs. rival and neighbor New Providence (3-0) on Black Out Friday with first kickoff set for 7 p.m. on Mountain Avenue.

GIRLS SOCCER: Dayton (0-2-1) is still in search of its first win of the season after dropping a 6-0 home decision to Governor Livingston on Saturday. Two days earlier, the Bulldogs lost its road opener, 4-0, to Johnson after opening the season with a scoreless tie at home to Brearley on Sept. 8. Next Up: vs. Union Catholic (9/17, 4 p.m.); vs. Kent Place (9/20, 4 p.m.); at Gov. Livingston (9/22, 12 p.m.).

GIRLS TENNIS: Dayton (0-4) has dropped four straight 5-0 decisions versus Union Catholic, Glen Ridge, Scotch Plains-Fanwood and its first road test of the season at Summit last Friday. Next Up: at Rahway (9/18, 4 p.m.); at Gov. Livingston (9/21, 4 p.m.).

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: The Bulldogs (0-2) two straight 2-0 decisions, including its home opener versus Roselle last Thursday. Next Up: vs. St. Elizabeth (9/24, 4 p.m.).

GYMNASTICS: Dayton (0-1) dropped its season opener at Union Catholic, 91.75-94.75, last Wednesday. Alexis Brookstook home All-Around (31.175) honors, while Alyssa Schramm won two events in Vault (8.75) and Beam (8.1). Next Up: at Westfield (9/17, 4:30 p.m.).
