SPRINGFIELD, NJ – This week’s activities include the beginning of high school sports games with the first tennis match scheduled Thursday at home, a Monday Board of Education meeting, a musical revue Monday at the library featuring Krystle Tomlinson and her current troupe, a Saturday screening of the documentary “The Modest Beekeeper” by Springfield resident Amefika Gray, several scrimmages and many other activities at the library.

As of March 5, the library reopened from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.  It will remain open on Sundays through May 28.  Sunday hours will resume again October 1 and continue through December 17.

Three School Buses Involved in Crash at Clark's ALJ High School

CLARK, NJ — Three buses collided in the Arthur L. Johnson High School parking lot around noon on Thursday in a chain-reaction crash.

UNION, NJ – A CodeRed alert about road construction, the resulting congestion, and what can be expected, was sent to residents Tuesday morning.

Friends of the Library Book Sale Continues

The Friends of the Union Public Library are continuing their book sale through until Monday, July 16th, 2018 at the Main Library and Vauxhall Branch.  The sale features items for both adults and kids and includes DVDs and CDs as well as books.
