This Week in Springfield Township: June 26 to July 1

SPRINGFIELD, NJ – This week summer break begins in full.  The Community Pool is open and the Springfield’s Summer Concert series begins with The Vaughn’s on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. on the lawn in front of Town Hall.

There is a Township Committee meeting Tuesday evening and the Rotary Club meets over lunch Tuesday at McLynn’s Restaurant.   

On Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. there is an Interfaith Solidarity Gathering at Temple Sha'arey Shalom.

The Springfield Free Public Library offers a full slate of activities including Monday’s Drums Around the World for those age three to five, and Nature Nick’s Exotic Animal World on Thursday. 

The Community Pool is open and the Township offers expanded recycling Saturday.

Three School Buses Involved in Crash at Clark's ALJ High School

CLARK, NJ — Three buses collided in the Arthur L. Johnson High School parking lot around noon on Thursday in a chain-reaction crash.
