SPRINGFIELD, NJ – This week’s activities include the beginning of high school baseball and softball season on Saturday, a presentation Monday at the Springfield Free Public Library “Treatments for Joint Pain” rescheduled from March 15 due to weather, a Township Committee meeting, a Planning Board meeting, expanded recycling Saturday at the Community Pool, many scrimmages, and many other activities at the library.

As of March 5, the library reopened from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.  It will remain open on Sundays through May 28.  Sunday hours will resume again October 1 and continue through December 17.
