SPRINGFIELD, NJ – Some of the activities to highlight this week are two on Monday.  They are Springfield Rotary Club hosting its annual “Taste of the Towns” and the Board of Ed meeting will review next year’s budget.  On Wednesday, the library hosts the annual “Holocaust Remembrance”.   Finally, the Union County Tournaments for baseball and softball begin Saturday.  There is a full slate of school athletic events, several other community meetings and many other activities at the library.

This is the last week the art of Amy Charmatz is on display at the Donald Palmer Museum in the Springfield Free Public Library.  Ms. Charmatz is “…a self-taught artist with disabilities who believes very strongly in the positive impact art has on physical and mental health.”
