SPRINGFIELD, NJ – This week features the Jonathan Dayton High School Prom,  an athlete scholar dinner, several sectional tournament games, a Board of Ed Meeting, a Township Committee meeting, a two special book events at the Springfield Free Public Library. 

On Monday, former Springfield Mayor Joanne Rajoppi will talk about her book “Northern Women in the Aftermath of the Cold War”.  On Wednesday, Springfield resident, Wendy Jones will talk about her book “An Extraordinary Life:  Josephine E. Jones”. 

There are other events at the library as well as athletic events.  There is no school on Friday before the long Memorial Day weekend
