Breathing Deeply: Yoga & Mindfulness for Wellness and Compassion

This group is for anyone looking to put a pause on the busyness of life, even if only for an hour. We welcome those of all levels of experience in yoga and meditation, especially those with no experience at all.

In both yoga and meditation classes, we will practice deep breathing together (and sometimes hold poses) while centering our minds and bodies on our potential for wellness and compassion. We believe that these practices can help guide us to better seek compassion and justice in our daily living.

Classes will alternate between yoga and meditation every week.

You can find Stanley Congregational Church located at 94 Fairmount Ave. in Chatham, NJ. There is ample street parking available on Oliver Street, where you will also find the side entrance directly to Stanley Hall. Bring your own mat or towel if you can, and if not, please contact me ahead of time.
