Cellist Randy Calistri-Yeh will perform a solo cello recital at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 28 at the Springfield Library. In addition to sharing his musical talent, Randy promises to entertain with the inside scoop on the selected music with fascinating stories and little-known facts.

“We are so excited to be holding our first indoor event since re-opening after the pandemic shutdown and we couldn’t be happier to bring Randy Calestri-Yeh back to Springfield for this special event,” stated Library Director, Dale Spindel.

Randy is the principal cellist of the Livingston Symphony Orchestra, plays in several local pit orchestras and chamber groups, and created the Synergismus Duo with his wife Millie.  He was previously principal cellist of the Penfield Symphony Orchestra and the Finger Lakes Symphony Orchestra in upstate New York.

Randy also runs Custom Chamber Music, an online company that produces customized arrangements of classical music for any combination of instruments.

Randy has a Ph.D. in computer science and has spent many years in the computer industry building artificial intelligence and personalization systems.  He lives in Florham Park, NJ.
