Please join the Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce as it presents the 2nd Annual “Winter Walk” in Taylor Park. The official lighting ceremony will kick off the holiday season on Saturday, November 24th at 4:00pm in the Rose Garden adjacent to the Gazebo. This location is closest to the corner of Millburn Avenue and Lackawanna Place.
Taylor Park will rock with live music, complimentary hot chocolate and giveaways from local merchants and sponsors. Our 7 foot tall Polar Bear will be back in the park, a perfect spot for some holiday pictures!
Hundreds of trees and our covered bridge will be adorned with twinkling lights, creating a festive atmosphere. Start your Winter Walk at the Gazebo then follow the path across the footbridge, along Main Street over the second footbridge and around the pond, taking in the beauty of Taylor Park.
The kick off to “Winter Walk” coincides with “Shop Small Saturday,” an initiative to bring customers to local retail shops in town. It is also the season of giving and Boy Scout Troop 15 of Short Hills will conduct a food drive at the event.
“Winter Walk” is made possible through the generosity of local businesses, property owners, residents and the Downtown Millburn Development Alliance under the banner of the Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce. Donations will be accepted until midnight on November 13th. “Winter Walk” concludes on January 24, 2019.
