SPRINGFIELD, NJ - Earlier this week, Springfield Township started two street milling and paving projects in town, on Salter Street and Hobart Place.
Milling work began first on Hobart Place between Archbridge Lane and Riverside Drive on Aug. 7 and continued on Salter Street, stretching from Lyons Place to Brook Street on Aug. 8. Following the completion of both milling processes, paving will begin on each street.
During the course of the milling and paving process, both streets will be closed to traffic. Residents on both streets who wish to use their vehicle can park it on an adjacent street.
Additionally, if residents have questions or concerns about the work being done on both streets, the township has advised residents not to directly discuss the matter with the contractor’s employees. Instead residents are asked to call the Engineering Department at 973-912-2221.
