SPRINGFIELD, NJ - Springfield children are invited to dress up in their most creative costumes and participate in other ghoulish activities at the annual Halloween Spooktacular, sponsored by the Springfield Recreation Department, on Sunday, October 28, 2018, from 1:00-3:00 pm, at the Chisholm Community Center, 100 South Springfield Avenue.

The event is free. A flyer with more information is attached to this email. Starting at 1:00 pm, children will gather for a costume contest sponsored by the Springfield Patriot Chamber of Commerce and Cardinal Land Properties. Doors open for costume contest pre-registration at 12:30 am and is encouraged. Winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded promptly at 1:30 pm.

A variety of activities will be available for all participants – such as a balloonist, juggler, temporary tattoos, guessing jar, Halloween-themed craft, ghoul bowling, Springfield Municipal Alliance Red Ribbon Week giveaways, and more! Also, back by popular demand is a photo booth where you can show off your costume and go home with a keepsake strip of photos! John the Ventriloquist will delight the crowd with a headline performance at 2:30 p.m.
