SPRINGFIELD, NJ - Wednesday afternoon at the library, a full slate of programs will be available for both children and adults alike.

Starting at 1:00 p.m., Springfield Resident Kelly Saverino will be partnering with the library to host an environmental awareness event. During the course of the event, stations will be set up science fair-style to highlight environmental facts.

Additionally, the event will feature speakers from various groups discussing the topic. Metal straws and reusable bags will be available at the event to be picked up. Both items help to cut down on the amount of plastic waste generated each day.
