SPRINGFIELD, NJ — While there will be no parade this year, the Township of Springfield will still hold a ceremony for Memorial Day.

According to Springfield mayor Chris Capodice, the Township will be having a short Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 25th at 10 am at Veterans Park.

Those wishing to attend are strongly encouraged by the town to wear masks and kindly adhere to six feet of social distance. You may also view the ceremony via Facebook Live on the Township Facebook page. Any questions, please call (973) 912-2201.

Additionally, schools in town will have off from remote learning this Monday, in observance of Memorial Day.
