SPRINGFIELD, NJ — The latest COVID-19 figures, released by Springfield Mayor Chris Capodice, paint a picture of resiliency, as the state of New Jersey begins to re-open.

As of Yesterday's update, Springfield had no new cases of COVID-19, keeping the town's total 246 positive tests and 21 deaths.

Overall, Union County had 10 new cases of COVID-19, and 4 new deaths, totaling 15,868 positive tests and 1,078 deaths.

And the State of New Jersey had 627 new cases of COVID-19 and 49 new deaths, bringing the state total number to 1601,545  positive tests, and 11,770 COVID-19 related deaths.
