SPRINGFIELD, NJ — In the latest update from the township, Springfield Mayor Chris Capodice provide the latest local, county and statewide tallies of COVID-19, as well as a new visualization of the case breakdown in Springfield.

As of yesterday's message, Springfield had one new case of COVID-19, totaling 206 positive tests (1 case previously reported no longer resides in Springfield) and 13 deaths.

Union County had 158 new cases of COVID-19, and 12 new deaths, totaling 12,011 positive tests and 583 deaths.

The State of New Jersey had 2,150 new cases of COVID-19 and 106 new deaths, bringing the state total number to 111,188 positive tests, and 6,044 COVID-19 related deaths. Additionally, the state has received an additional 2,146 positive test results, bringing the total number of positive results in the state to 111,188.

In addition to the numbers, released by the state, Capodice shared an updated graph and chart from township resident Ryan Lafazan, which is tracking the week by week statistics.
