SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Although it has been postponed from earlier this week, paving is still expected to start soon on Woodcrest Circle in Springfield.

Top Line Construction was scheduled to perform the initial paving work on Woodcrest Circle on Monday Oct. 12 between the hours of 7:00 AM to around 5:00 PM, weather permitting. The project will be completed in two phases. The first phase will primarily consist of replacing all granite block curbs.

Driveways will become inaccessible when replacing curbs at driveway entrances. Prior to disturbing driveways, residents will be notified and asked to park their vehicles on a side street.

Due to the curing time which concrete requires, residents will be asked to not use their driveways for 48 hours after work is completed. The police department is aware of the project and side street parking. Residents will be notified prior to the second phase of the project.
