SPRINGIELD, NJ — In a public notice posting, the township of Springfield announced a special public meeting, which will take place this Monday, June 15 at 9:00 a.m.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting is scheduled to be conducted electronically via the Zoom online meeting platform. Public participation in and viewing of the public portions of the meeting only will be available via Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82137475040 A link for access to the public portions of the meeting will be also be posted prior to the start of the meeting on the Township website https://springfield-nj.us.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider, and potentially take action on:

Personnel matters – Police Department staffing and Fire Department staffing

Personnel matters – Recreation Department

Portions of the meeting may be held in Executive Session. The public is hereby informed that prior to, or subsequent to completion of, any executive discussion, official action may be taken with respect to these matters during the public portion of the meeting.
