SPRINGFIELD, NJ — A Springfield man made his first court appearance Monday on charges of tax evasion and failing to file tax returns, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig and Acting Assistant Attorney General David A. Hubbert of the Justice Department’s Tax Division announced.
