Dayton Girls Track: ‘Best Efforts’

SPRINGFIELD, NJ – On Tuesday, April 17, the Dayton Girls Track and Field team faced off against Union and Roselle. Despite the cold weather, Coach Greg Salmon said, “We had great performances from many athletes.”

Dayton Softball: Bulldogs Lose Heartbreaker to West Orange, 9-8

SPRINGFIELD, NJ - On Thursday, it was cold, rainy and windy and they still played softball.  The Bulldogs gave the 7-4 Mountaineers all they could handle but came up short losing the game 9-8.  

The lead changed often and the game was tied 8-8 at the end of six innings.  West Orange got the winning run in the seventh inning.

Dayton Softball: Bulldogs Lose to Minutemen, 11-5

ELIZABETH, NJ – This young Dayton team didn’t give up, they just had to far to go after falling behind 8-1 at the end of two innings to Elizabeth.  The final score was 11-5.
