NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ – The Jonathan Dayton boys soccer team traveled to division rival New Providence and played its second consecutive overtime game.  This time the Bulldogs prevailed 1-0 in the first overtime period.

Dayton Coach Felix Fabiano said, "It was a very exciting game and a good performance by Dayton against a strong opponent." According to the coach, the Bulldogs goal occurred when "...Anthony Nagy received the ball on the 35 yard line, dribbled by three opponents and from just outside the area passed the ball to Nico McNamee, who from inside the sixth drilled a low shot past the New Providence goalie."  The Bulldogs record for the season is now 2-1-1.

Senior Nico McNamee scored the Bulldogs lone goal on an assist from senior Captain Anthony Nagy. The Bulldogs goalie senior Will Hoduc turned away all eight shots on goal.
