ROSELLE, NJ — Sophomore Cameron Campbell-Miller scored a team-high 14 points and senior Andrew Hornbuckle added 12, hitting three 3-pointers to pace Dayton in a 64-47 loss at Roselle Thursday.

Senior star guard DJ Alicea sat out Thursday’s game has a precautionary measure due to a mile left ankle sprain he suffered in practice on Wednesday, but is expected to return to the hardwood at home Saturday.

Alicea has scored in double figures in 54 straight games played and is 63 points away from becoming the school’s all-time leading scorer.

Junior Josh Jackson posted 10 points for Dayton (2-4), which is 0-2 on the road thus far this season.

Samuel Noel scored a game-high 26 points with three 3-pointers and four steals, while Zaire Goda added 11 for Roselle (6-0).

The Bulldogs return to game action on Saturday at 1 p.m. with a UCC-Skyland Division home contest against Roselle Park and will host Johnson in another key divisional matchup on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m.
