SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Senior Haeley Santos scored 12 points with two 3-pointers and senior Casey Janker added 10 points with three steals to lead Dayton to a come-from-behind 47-43 victory over Plainfield in Springfield Tuesday.

Senior Michelle Bellino posted nine points with 12 rebounds and junior Aiyona Wood contributed eight rebounds with four blocks for Dayton (4-8), which snapped a two-game skid.

Trailing 18-13 at halftime, the Bulldogs used a 15-6 third quarter to take a 28-24 lead entering the fourth quarter.

Sophomore Cazhmoni Royster scored 11 points and sophomore Stephanie Barbosa added 10 to pace Plainfield (5-8), which has lost two straight and three of its last five games.

The Bulldogs visit Linden (4-10), which has lost three straight and seven of its last eight games, Thursday at 4 p.m. to try and complete the season series sweep. Dayton upended Linden at home, 54-29, on Jan. 9 as Bellino posted 22 points, 11 rebounds and five steals in the win.
