SPRINGFIELD, NJ — This preview is part of a series that was slated to run and highlight members of the Spring sports teams at Jonathan Dayton High School. Without sports of any kind in the picture this spring, TAPinto Springfield will still be running the previews as a way to highlight the key performers who had their upcoming seasons stolen by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In summary the 2020  Johnathon Dayton High school Boys Lacrosse season although postponed, the lacrosse program  continues to move forward toward game proficiency and league competitiveness.

Most unfortunate is the loss of four senior seasons. Leaders whom have borne the burden of being the first recreation , intramural and varsity team. Unfortunately, senior experience abbreviated due to unforeseen circumstances has rendered regrettably, another first .

Never the less, (the seniors) sense  something powerful has happed securing their legacy  far beyond what will be  recorded in any books.

Speed is the Bulldog calling card.  Defense dictates tempo so that Midfielders stretch the field vertically, the treat to score from any situation is real.
