Body Found in Ursino Park

UNION, NJ – Union County Sheriff officers and County Police are investigating the discovery of a body in Ursino Park.

According to police authorities, a dog walker contacted police Tuesday evening upon the discovery of a male body in the park. A county park, Ursino Park borders Union, Elizabeth and Hillside. Ursino Park is located near the intersection of Morris and North Avenues.

The cause of death is undetermined at this time and the deceased has not yet been identified. The investigation is continuing, police said.
