CRANFORD - It's Theater, not Theatre, says Doreen Sayegh, owner of the new Cranford Movie Theater.

Doreen and her father, Jesse Sayegh, hosted a private grand opening for the renovated theater on Thursday night. The theater will open to the public on Friday and the first showing will be 'Midway,' an American war film based on the story of the attack on Pearl Harbor and the subsequent Battle of Midway during World War II.

The Sayeghs were joined by Cranford Mayor Patrick Giblin, Commissioners Mary O'Connor and Tom Hannen, Cranford DMC Director Gabe Bailer, DMC Board Member Tom Connolly, Cranford Chamber of Commerce Director Dottie Baniewicz, and more for the ribbon cutting, which you can view below.
