SHIP BOTTOM - For those of you who might not know it, there used to be an Exxon gas station for many years at the Ship Bottom circle at the causeway.  Finally, twenty years there is an approved plan to develop that site. The groundbreaking is expected to take place in November. The project was approved a year ago.

The Arlington Beach Club will have two three-story buildings, a courtyard and a pool area. There will be 12 apartments in each of the the buildings.  They will be two or three bedrooms and each will have it's own outdoor living space. Shore Properties, LLC is developing the project.

The Causeway Circle will be reconfigured as a square.  That is part of the NJ Department of Transportation's $350 million bridge project.  The bridge work is scheduled to be completed by summer 2020.
