STAFFORD - Junior Attack Nick Fontana scored the game winner in the first overtime off a feed from junior Attack Aniello Russo to give Southern a 6-5 victory over Rumson-Fair Haven.

Down 4-2 after the third quarter, Rumson-Fair Haven outscored Southern 3-1 in the fourth to tie the game, 5-5, and force overtime.

Fontana scored three goals, while Russo added two goals and had an assist. Ben LoParo scored a goal, while Cade Johnson had an assist. Goalkeeper Maul Luke made 15 saves for Southern.

Rowan Goldin scored two goals, while Patrick Jamin added a goal and had three assists. Jack Whitelaw and William Sullivan each contributed a goal, while goalkeeper Sean Bunnell made eight saves for Rumson-Fair Haven.
