BOSTON, MA - Dylan Jinks, a freshman at the Division 1 University of Hartford men's lacrosse program is having a great start to his collegiate career. He was recently named the America East conference Rookie of the Week. Dylan was a three-time US Lacrosse All-American and he was a four-year member of the lacrosse team at Southern.
In Dylan's junior and senior seasons as a Ram he combined for 252 points. He scored 93 goals and tacked on 43 assists as a junior and scored 76 goals and added 40 assists as a senior. .Dylan was also the 2015 Shore Conference player of the year.
Hartford University athletics recently posted this report:
"An attackman, Jinks exploded for eight points on Saturday afternoon to lead Hartford to a 16-4 oust at Manhattan. His four goals and four assists were game-best numbers, while the eight points were the most for a Hawk in a single game since Kevin O'Shea recorded 10 in a win over Richmond two years ago in 2014.

Against the Jaspers, Jinks netted a hat trick in the third quarter alone. He had a hand in five of Hartford's six goals during that stretch, scoring three times while contributing two assists to help extend a 4-2, halftime lead to 10-3 by the end of the stanza. Later in the afternoon, Jinks had two points in a game-ending, 6-0 run that sealed the win for the Hawks."
As of today after 6 contest, Jinks has 15 goals, 9 assists and 24 points. These stats place among the leaders in the America East conference. The team has a 3-3 overall record.
