Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh to Host Ocean County Irish Festival in Manahawkin on Saturday September 9

STAFFORD - The newly formed Ocean County chapter of the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh will be hosting the Ocean County Irish Festival this year.  It will not be held in Ship Bottom but instead in a new convenient location, the Manahawkin Lake Park in Manahawkin.  

The event takes place on one big day, Saturday, September 9.  Please mark your calendars to attend this incredible event.

The Ocean County Irish Festival is a family event which will include live music, pipe bands, step dancers, kids activities, food trucks, vendors, and a beer tent.

The Shillelagh's are proud to announce that "Big Joe" Henry of NJ101.5 FM will be broadcasting his radio show live from the event.  The event this year is "free" to the public.  This is the first time the festival has offered free admission.  

The Order of The Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh, Ocean County is a fraternal organization of men of Irish descent, created to promote Irish Heritage.
