STAFFORD - The Southern Regional Girls Lacrosse team won their second contest of the season on Wednesday afternoon defeating Jackson Memorial 12-9 at home. 

Lauryn Flynn scored four goals and added an assist to lead the Rams. Crystina Blaney, Shannon Lytle and Alexis Maul scored two goals apiece in the win.

Kelly Fontana and Kaitlyn Spaschak also scored for Southern.  It was Spaschak's first varsity goal of her career.  Rachel Sauer recorded her first varsity point when she had an assist in the contest.  Clare McCarthy turned had eight saves in goal for the winners.

Heather Devaney led Jackson Memorial with three goals as Sabrina Chandler and Emily Lasko both collected two goals. Claudia Hanson and Corinne Scheddin also scored as Mildred Tremley made 10 saves.
