TOMS RIVER — The unbeaten Southern Regional Boys Soccer team got a scare in Toms River against South on Tuesday.  Southern was down 1-0 after a goal Connor Clayton. 

Southern tied the contest on a goal by Ryan Leavitt. Kevin Kiernan notched the game winner less than two minutes into overtime to give the Rams the victory. 

The win allowed Southern to stay perfect on the season at 7-0. They host the Indians on Thursday. 

Southern is ranked #2 in the Shore Conference by the Shore Sports Network and #17 in New Jersey by NJ.com.
