Liam Maxwell Off to Fine Start of Volleyball Career at Belmont Abbey College

BELMONT, NC - Former Southern Regional Volleyball player Liam Maxwell is off to a great start on his collegiate career.  Liam is having a fine season at Belmont Abbey College.  


Recently, Liam was named as a National Freshman of the Week "Honorable Mention" "Off The Block" National Collegiate Volleyball site.

He also was nominated for Conference Carolinas "Volleyball Player of the Week"

Some of Liam's recent statistical highlights include:  .

On March 21 against Lees Mcrae College he had 12 kills on a .29 hitting percentage, 6 digs and one ace.
On March 24 against Cal-Baptist Maxwell had 15 kills on a .44 hitting percentage, 3 aces and 6 digs for 19.0 total points.
On March 28, Liam was named Defensive Player of the Night with 17 digs versus Pfieffer College in a 5 set victory. 

Maxwell currently leads his team in kills with 174 service aces with 22 and total points with 213.5.
