SHIP BOTTOM - Only steps away from the beach and right on Long Beach Boulevard, LBI’s newest store, Coastal Threads is open for business.
Featuring nen’s, women’s, and plus size clothing, as well as handmade items such as soy candles, wood burnings, scarves, hats, home decor and more! This shop is one of a kind and has items you can’t find anywhere else.
Coastal Threads is owned and operated by Danielle Preiser and her husband Brian. Danielle grew up in Manahawkin and graduated from Southern Regional and went on to earn degrees in Fashion Design Studies from Burlington County College and Fashion Merchandising from Liberty University. She started by making Jewelry in her dorm room in order to make some extra money during college.
After spending a few years traveling to vendor shows and always wanting to open up her own shop, she opened Coastal Threads in Historic Smithville in Atlantic County for two years before moving to this bigger location in Ship Bottom in 2019.
Located on 17th Street and the Boulevard right next to Bakers Porthole Cafe and across from the Borough Hall and Ship Bottom Shellfish, you won’t want to miss out on this accessible and affordable, locally owned shop. Stop by and shop around or take a picture in front of their hand painted mural on 17th street!
The shop will be open daily. You can visit their website at www.coastalthreadsnj.com or connect with them on Facebook and Instagram @CoastalThreadsNJ. 609-467-7377.
