STAFFORD - The Southern Rams Lacrosse team just put themselves in strong position for a potential Shore Conference Class A South after Monday's victory over Central.  Shannon Lytle scored four goals to help Southern earn a 6-4 victory over Central Regional at home.

Tied 4-4, Lytle scored a goal with 6:18 left in regulation to give Southern a 5-4 lead. Kelly Fontana scored the sixth goal for Southern with 2:33 left.  Alexis Maul contributed a goal, while Lauryn Flynn had two assists. Goalkeeper Clare McCarthy made seven saves for Southern.

This was a big win for the Rams as they avenge an earlier loss this season to Central on April 3.  The Rams are 7-1 in Shore Conference Class A South and 7-3 overall.

Nikki Mastrodomenico scored two goals, while Alexis Dohn and Lillian Walker each added a goal. Goalkeeper Kat DeMuro made seven saves for Central Regional.
