STATE COLLEGE, PA - Stafford's Mike Gesicki has etched his name in Penn State program history in two categories after Saturday's game. He now has the most receiving yards for a tight end in Penn State football history.  He also has more receiving touchdowns than any player that came before him at that same position.

Gesicki and his senior teammates had their final game at Beaver Stadium on Saturday and defeated Nebraska 56-44.

This program has been through much adversity back 4-6 years.  The program is back on track due to the leadership of Coach Franklin and the senior players at PSU.

Mike was before and after the contest looking all around the stadium soaking in all the joy he has experienced in his fine career at Penn State.

Gesicki was one of the leaders these past four years and can take great pride in what his team has accomplished to turn Penn State into one of the nation’s top teams.

The Nittany Lions won the Big Ten title last season and with Saturday's victory improved their record to 9-2 this season.

After Gesicki's second touchdown catch, he took the opportunity to blowing a kiss to the crowd in appreciation for all the support he has received.
